The family is not divulging any other details at this time, Portzline says.
After finally cracking the Montreal roster, Odelein spent six seasons with the Canadiens before being traded to New Jersey before the 1996-97 season, a deal that brought enigmatic scorer Stéphane Richer back into the Habs fold.
