No Pants Subway Ride 2018: Montrealers get in on the bare-legged silliness

Macarena Davila has been having a recurring dream in which she leaves home without putting on pants. In deciding to join the 2018 edition of the No Pants Subway Ride in Montreal, in which participants ride the métro while wearing no pants, here’s what she was thinking: “Maybe if I go out without pants, I will stop having the dream.”

Davila was among 40 or so people rode the Green Line on Sunday afternoon fully dressed for winter – but pantsless. They joined subway riders without pants in dozens of cities, from Brisbane to Calgary and Jerusalem to London.
